I’ve come to believe that we always return to the things that made us happy as children. For me, that has always been literature—stories, words, and the quiet worlds they open up.
Although I work in the fields of visual culture and creative direction, books have remained a constant: a place of comfort, curiosity, and inspiration.
Notes on Books is a space where I bring together two of my biggest influences: literature and visual storytelling. It’s a personal journal of sorts—an ongoing exploration of how books leave traces in us. Sometimes it’s a phrase, a feeling, or a small detail that lingers, and this project is my way of giving shape to those moments.
Beyond the digital space, Notes on Books will also grow into a meeting point—through book clubs, gatherings, and shared conversations. The goal is to build a community around the stories that move us, and to create moments of pause, exchange, and connection.
My intention with this project is to create a space that brings people together through a shared love of reading—not just as an end in itself, but as a starting point for broader conversations. Books become the doorway to talk about everything else that moves us: art, cinema, music, and life itself.
